The musical webscape is changing all the time. Opportunities to listen to legal music for listeners and fans are increasing everyday. The same can be said for musicians and recording artists trying to get their music heard around the world. The technology and resources for both of these groups is increasing and becoming more affordable everyday. Yet, as we all know, getting the ‘basics’ to this new technology is elusive and piecemeal. That’s why I’ve put together this little tutorial that provides the basics of how an artist can place their his or her music on the Web and how the listener, can obtain it – legally. 

I’ve decided the most efficient way to provide this info by answering some Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ. That way you can just scroll down (or use the ‘find on this page’ feature in your browser) to locate the info you need at any given moment. Keep in mind that I am a human being, prone to mistakes and opinions, so while I do try to make an honest effort to be accurate and fair in my recommendations, this is all one man’s perception.
